For our models such as Tula, Lucia, Romane, etc.
Tula - Lucia - Romane
- Gently brush the surface with a crepe brush to remove dirt from the leather. Brush in the direction of the grain to avoid damaging the suede texture.
- For small stains, use a suede gum.
- To clean, use a special suede leather cleaner. Apply it to a damp sponge or soft cloth and gently rub the leather surface. Avoid using water directly on the leather, as stains may appear, and avoid cleaning different leather colors with the same material, as the colors may bleed into each other.
- Once cleaned, allow the leather to air-dry flat.
- Once the leather is completely dry, use a crepe brush to straighten the grain. The soft, velvety texture will reappear.
- For colored suede, use our self toner for shoes on the affected areas. Colors will regain their full brilliance.
- Lastly, use a waterproofing product to protect against water and stains.
For regular maintenance, continue to brush the leather regularly with a crepe brush and apply waterproofing once or twice a month.
To treat stains: grease, oil, liquids, etc.
- Absorb the stain (if greasy liquid) with a handkerchief without rubbing, as this may spread the stain.
- Apply terre de Sommières (dry stain remover) overnight, as it is an excellent stain remover for grease. Leave overnight and rub lightly with a soft brush the next day.
- For smaller stains (rubbing, dirt, etc.), use a suede rubber or crepe brush.
Rain
Suede leather is sensitive to water. We recommend that you avoid getting it as wet as possible. If your shoes have been in the rain, stains may appear. We recommend that you let your shoes dry flat and leave them alone until they are completely dry. To avoid stains, use a waterproofing product.
